  2. Fun post Page - with several shots I've never seen before. Frankenstein is especially interesting. Since the director James Whale, Karloff, and Clive were English, they always stopped what they were doing for Tea at 4:00 o'clock.How much fun would that have been to watch.

      I hadn't even considered the High Tea for the three Brits. It does look so funny to see Frankenstein's Monster holding a tiny tea cup.

  6. I recall reading that Garbo did not like a lot of people on the set, as it took away from her concentration. Looking at the photo of the "Anna Christie" set, looks like those stories were true.

      I've got a couple of other photos of Greta with her and her co-star separated by partitions from the extras, busy scenes. Nice that the studio's were so accommodating to her and her fears.

      Would love to go back in time to a life in the day of Garbo.
