Dorothy Sebastian is scaring me a bit here! Her rabbit coat/ears look a bit tired.
Lois Maxwell is lovely among her Easter lilies.
You knew Shirley would make an appearance. It was part of her contract to appear in 30 posts a year. Grrrr! I hope she doesn't try to take over Veteran's Day.
Wendy Barrie laid a giant egg! And I mean that outfit. Polka dots and ruffles should be left for toddlers.
I'm at a loss for words here on Maureen O'Hara's hat. Maybe a yard or two less netting would help it out. She does look very pretty.
Wishing everyone a blessed Easter holiday with family and friends. I plan to eat my weight in honey baked ham.
See you soon!

Dorothy S. is reminding me of Cruella DeVille.
ReplyDeleteYou know Shirl will take over Veteran's Day. She loves tap dancing in a uniform.
CW,
DeleteYou're hilarious! I WILL remember what you said come Veteran's Day!
Ha Ha

The only way to stop Shirley from taking over Veterans' Day is if I volunteer to take her on a private Easter egg hunt. (And let me put it bluntly: she ain't coming back.)
ReplyDeleteIf I could catch Maureen O'Hara in netting I'd take up fishing for a living.
Ivan,
DeleteI was going to say that you're just jealous that your best gal Margaret O'Brien got pushed aside as my co-host by Shirley but Becky beat me to the punch once again! (Is there any way we can all three end up in the same nursing home one day?) We can waste hours playing Chinese checkers and doing old Hollywood trivia. I'll even feed you your lunch and if Errolette gets in the way I'll drop her like a bag of dirt!
You can have O'Hara! She's a fellow redhead.

All I can say is I'm glad you didn't use a picture of Margaret O'Brien here -- Ivan would be on a killing spree! Weird and fun pics, Page!
ReplyDeleteBecky,
DeleteIvan is going to get himself in a tizz over O'Brien. I hope we can fit her in during Six Degrees this round! lol

Happy Easter, Page. Shirley looks like she's making weapons for her secret Veteran's Day attack--be aware.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter! And I'm sure there's a Shirley Temple picture for every holiday!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and funny pics!!!Happy Easter!!!
ReplyDeleteSomebody should produce a comedy about old-Hollywood studio publicity departments. My gosh, the mindset of those folks. Fun photos.
ReplyDeleteHoppy Easter!!
ReplyDeleteI've always thought that Maureen O'Hara would look good in anything. For a moment I had to second guess that when I saw this pic of her bunny rabbit hat. Honestly, what were they thinking??? Still, as ever, Maureen looks gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteThanks for all of your Easter well wishes and comments! I agree that these holiday photo ops are always good for a few laughs and awkward glances.
ReplyDeleteI hope everyone had a great holiday weekend. I really didn't eat my weight in ham although it feels like it.
