Ok Page -- now you've managed to push MY "She Who Must Not Be Named" button -- Deanna Durbin! Like Ivan with his nemesis, DD makes me shiver and retch ... and that picture! That is the weirdest Christmas costume I've ever seen! I thought my eyes had permanently crossed.
ReplyDeleteHowever, my eyes managed to clear up long enough to see Alice White and Grace Bradley, so lovely! But then I looked at darling Dorothy Lamour's outfit, and now I'm blind. Thanks a lot, Page! (And Merry Christmas, partner!)
Becks,
DeleteI had no idea you weren't a big DD fan. I am not too fond of her either. (So glad I'm not alone!) I sent you an email but had to say that I wanted a couple of autographs for my collection this Christmas and the only one I didn't get outbid on was Durbin's. lol Oh well!
Sure you noticed that I had to include a pic of Rita for Kevin and sneak one in of Shirley for our Ivan. : )

Who gave the OK on Alice White's boots? Yikes!
ReplyDeleteHope you're having a wonderful holiday season. :)
SS,
DeleteAlice borrowed those boots from that Karloff movie where he mines for stuff. (lol Can't recall the name even though I reviewed it!)
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas.

Page - thanks for the sweet Christmas photos. Belated Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteMaybe it's too late to wish you Merry Chistmas, but at least you gave me an idea: next year I'll dress up as the Xmas tree, like Deanna Durbin did!
ReplyDeleteThe col weather in pictures made me chill, but it is a little cold here after this week's rain.
Kisses!
Wishing you the happiest of holidays, Page. And by the way, I just had to share this with you.

FlickChick,
DeleteFor some reason I get an error when I try to copy it. I love seeing pics of Shirley and I know deep down Ivan does as well.
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas.
