  1. How cool: Father's day in Brazil is in the second Sunday of August.
My favorite picture is the one with Charlton Heston, all dressed for shooting! And Gregory Peck looks to have been with Cecilia what Atticus was to Scout!
Now, changing the subject: do you know the blog Frankly, My Dear? It's awesome and Rianna, the writer, will hosta blogathon to recast post-1965's movies with pre-1965's actors and directors. I think you'll enjoy!
    Kisses!

    1. Le,
I wondered if other countries celebrated Fathers Day and if so if it fell on the same day.

I have to catch up with my fellow bloggers and their latest articles and events and I will definitely look into the blogathon.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great week.

I can only imagine how amazing Jimmy was as a father. He certainly did have adorable kids.

  4. Spencer Tracy's son John was such a sweet-faced boy. Very fortunate to have the parents he did.

    1. LE,
Johns mother especially sounded like a saint, the perfect mom to have. And boy did John look like a mini Spencer. He certainly got his fathers looks.

  5. Bogey and Bacall sure had their fair share of doggies.

    1. Rich,
For some reason it made me a bit uneasy that their precious son was around such large dogs. I always feel that way when seeing dogs around little kids though.

      Thanks for stopping by.

  6. These are great pictures. I love Bogart with kids (and dogs). I also thought that Henried and Peck looked to be enjoying themselves, but my favorite has to be Jimmy Stewart. Thanks for sharing these great photos.

    1. LTM,
It's hard to choose a favorite for me but I do like Weissmuller who was such a manly man lying on the floor holding his son.

So glad you enjoyed the candids and thanks for stopping by again.

  8. All great photos, Page -- thanks for posting! My favorite is the Bogart one. Great dogs, and I love the look on Bacall's face. Just a really nicely composed shot. The Heston one is great, too. I've heard quite a bit about how good of a father Heston was. Just a very underrated guy all around.

    1. Thanks Jeff! The photo of the Bogart's seems to be very popular. That Lauren never seems to be thrilled about anything! She always has the look of "I could care less!"

  9. Wow - that photo of Gregory Peck and daughter Cecilia can't be right on your ID that is Cecilia - that's a photo of him from the 50s and that girl is very 1950s - Cecilia was born in 58 - to make this Cecilia that would have make this photo taken in late 64 or 65 and NO one wore their hair that way in 64 or 65!!! It just can't be Cecilia. And Mr. Peck looked a lot older in 65 than here. This has got to be someone who he worked with in the 50s. I was born in the mid 40s and my folks knew GP well. I saw Cecilia as a little girl in the 60s and this absolutely is not her!
